When you typed “Jeans Wholesale Lots” in Google, the results mostly are for branded jeans such as Evisu, Rock & Republic, True Religion, Luky Brand, and etc. There are only few non-branded jeans wholesale lots. Why is that?
For Americans, jeans are staple item that almost everyone has it and we wear jeans to different places at different occasions. We’re not afraid of spending $150 – $300 for a pair of jeans because we see it as an investment, especially for women from metropolitan cities. But don’t forget that these are true only for people who make decent income and who live in LA, New York, San Francisco, and other metropolitan cities. These people are only a fraction of the US population. So what happen to the rest of the Americans?
There are much more Americans who never even hear about these branded jeans or cannot afford branded jeans, especially in this economic condition. If you think about it, there are greater markets for non-branded jeans rather than for branded jeans. Other than the US, there are countries like Indonesia, Philippines, Nigeria, and Thailand who mostly buy non-branded jeans. But the weird thing is, these countries still import non-branded jeans from Vietnam or China because that’s how ridiculously cheap the labor in China is.
Don’t be discouraged by the fact that people are only looking for premium brand jeans wholesale lots because there are more opportunities and markets for you to sell non-branded jeans than to sell branded jeans. Even in the US, many people are looking for non-brand jeans and they put their own twist and they label it with their brands. You just have to find the market. I personally bought non-brand jeans from China and put my own design and put my brand. Then, I sell it within the US and UK. Yup Yup, I agree with the writer that only few percentage of people can afford a $200 – $300 premium jeans. The rest are looking to buy $50 non-branded jeans.
